Where are D. Simpkin Products made? Who makes them?
D. Simpkin products are all machine knit and hand sewn in Fairhaven, MA. Danni Simpkin is the sole owner and operator of this small business! Please note their studio is in their house, and all items are kept in a smoke-free home, but not a pet-free one. Please be cautious when ordering if you have an allergy to cats!
The given measurements for a hat/shawl are too big/small for me: How can I order the size I need?
If you require a size for a hat or shawl that is not listed, please reach out to me at our contact page, and shoot me an email with the measurements you have taken when you order. There is no extra fee or charge for needing a bigger size of hats or shawls. We just ask for your patience as this may make the processing time longer for the item as resized items are made to order.
I am allergic to wool: What are my options for D. Simpkin products?
Currently, the only items that are completely wool free are the Succulent Infinity Scarf, Starfish Infinity Scarf, and Mushroom Infinity Scarf. Scarves and Shawls can be custom ordered to be non-wool options through our Custom Order Form. Currently, I do not have an option for Non-Wool beanies as I am still searching for a suitable wool free substitute that I can get reliably, and has the same softness and warmth as the wool I currently use in D. Simpkin beanis.
